Managing your account
Creating a Microsoft Store account
A Microsoft Store account is where you can update your account settings, view your orders, manage contact preferences, and find the product keys for the software you have downloaded. You can also download your previously purchased software again.
To create a Microsoft Store account you will need a Windows Live ID.
Windows Live ID
Windows Live ID is a free service that gives you access to a whole range of Microsoft services including MSN, Hotmail, Office Live, Xbox LIVE, and many more.
If you do not have a Windows Live ID you can sign up for one and create a Microsoft Store account at the same time. Alternatively you will have the option to create on when you place an order with us.
If you already have a Windows Live ID then simply sign in
Multiple Windows Live ID Accounts
You can have multiple Microsoft Store accounts if you sign in with different Windows Live ID credentials, but information is not shared across accounts. For example if you sign with one e-mail address, that information is not available to you if sign out and sign in with a different e-mail address.
