Downloading your Software

To download your software you will first need to install the Microsoft Store Download Manager.

To install the Microsoft Store Download Manager click on the “Download” link for your product to launch the Download Manager window (Note: depending on the browser and platform you use, you may be asked to accept a security certificate the first time you use the Microsoft Store Download Manager.).

Please try the following options if you have problems with the purchase:

Next choose the location that you want you download to go to (for example ‘My Documents > Microsoft Store Downloads’) and then click ‘Save’. Your download will start automatically.

Once a download is complete, the Microsoft Store Download Manager verifies whether the download is completed and error-free before it gives you the option of installing the software.

If you want to download more than one program, the Microsoft Store Download Manager creates a queue so that you can continue working on your computer while the software is downloading automatically. If one of the downloads is interrupted, the Microsoft Store Download Manager will resume where it left off.

Installing your download

To install your download go to where you saved it with the Microsoft Store Download Manager. Double-click on the compressed / Zip file and select the location that you would like to unzip the files to (for example ‘My Documents > Microsoft Store Downloads’). Once the file/s are unzipped double click on the “set-up” file to start the installation.

Follow the installation steps for your download. When you are prompted for your license key please enter the key contained in your order.

IMPORTANT: We highly recommend that you make a back-up of your data before upgrading your system or performing a complete installation.

Back up media

Back up media refers to a disc that contains a copy of the files required to install a piece of software. You can order back-up media for software products available via the Microsoft Store for you to keep. However the media must be ordered at the same time as your software.

Back up media is useful if you have a problem with your software product in the future (for example you might need to install certain components again). Back up media is not necessary to install your software from the Microsoft Store but can give you peace of mind that you have a copy of your software with you.

Note: You will need a license key to complete any installation of your software. You license key is located with your previous purchases.
