What is Verified by Visa / MasterCard Securecode?
Visa and MasterCard offer you an additional and completely free security mechanism when purchasing from the Microsoft Store. This makes shopping secure and prevents unauthorised use of your credit card.
If you have already registered for Verified by Visa / MasterCard Securecode, after your order is confirmed you will be prompted to enter your personal security code in a separate window.
If you have not yet registered you must do so after your order is confirmed. Registration takes just a few steps and is integrated in the shopping process.
If you have any other questions about Verified by Visa or Mastercard Securecode, your issuing bank will be happy to answer your questions.
arvato is also PCI certified. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, usually abbreviated to PCI, is a standard governing the processing of credit card transactions and is supported by all of the main credit card organisations.

Where do I find my Download?
You can use your download straight away once your order is finalised on the order confirmation page and download the software you want. If the software you purchased includes a key you will likewise find it on the order confirmation page.
If you want to download your software later, the easiest way to locate it is via the Help pages which you will find in the top part of the homepage. We also include a direct link to your download in your order confirmation.

How can I return my product if I don't like it?
You have the option in Microsoft Store to return your product to us within the statutory periods. You can find further information on this here.
Registered User / Shopping as a Guest?
What is the difference between being a registered user and shopping as a guest?
When you shop as a registered user, the Windows Live ID enables you to shop on many Microsoft partner pages using just one set of access details. For this you will need a Windows Live ID account, which you can set up here. If you already have an account, you can finalise your shopping in the Microsoft Store and access all of your purchases later.
You can also shop without registering by continuing to shop as a guest.

Data privacy is of utmost importance to us. If you subscribe to our newsletter we will only forward this data to Microsoft and use it for newsletters from the Microsoft Store. We will never pass on your details to other third parties. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
Advantages of the Backup Disc?
Do you want to buy a download and at the same time have the confidence that the software you purchased will be available whenever you want, even if you run into problems with your computer? This is why we offer you the option of purchasing a backup disc (in the form of a CD / DVD). We will send this to your nominated address.
Please note that the backup disc is always shipped without a license key. The license key for your software can be found under My Account in the Microsoft Store.
Shipping Options
We offer you reasonably priced, extremely flexible and reliable shipping options:
By post: This is the cheapest option, however it is only used to ship backup discs. It takes a little longer, but the price is hard to beat.
Standard: Shipping by land is handled by our carrier UPS. You can track the status of your package at all times using a link in your shipping confirmation e-mail so that you always know where it is.
Express: We recommend express shipping if you are in a particular rush. UPS offers an air shipping service so that your goods reach you as quickly as possible. Here too you can track the status of your package using a link in your shipping confirmation e-mail.

The following information is extremely important for accurate processing of your order:
Postcode: Please make sure that you use the correct format for your country's postcodes. This will help our carriers to deliver your package promptly and to the correct address.
Phone number: The phone number is not a required field, but will help the Microsoft Store Customer Service Team to reach you quickly if we have any questions about your order.
E-mail address: The e-mail address is a required field. Please make sure that it is correct, as we will be sending all e-mails exclusively to the address you give us.
